Hi peeps

Anyone know where I can get a good engine rebuild for my WRX blobeye in the kent area or southeast?

Had my car 2 weeks and had it serviced today and then a power run as the car is stock and wanted a base figure. it's only done 39000 miles 1 owner and full service history.
When I left the place that serviced the car I could hear a knock from the engiine so took it straight back and they are looking at it tomorrow.
The engine was fine when I took it there so i'm hoping it's just something loose or the worst case is the big ends.
The previous owner could have put a thick grade oil in to hide the noise and now a good synthectic oil has been used it's highlited the problem?
Who knows, guess I will find out tomorrow.

So atm i'm looking at the worst case scenario, that way I can't be anymore peeeeved off!

Hi there i would recommend Neil@Slowboy Racing which is near to you(just near entrance on Brands Hatch),he is doing my rebuild and fitting the 2.1 stroker,and servicing my car from first day which i have .

Thanks for that, yep not far from me. I can take the engine out myself so then i can clean the engine bay ect.

Lets hope It's not the big ends though!

One option would also be Andy Williams (Williams Motorsport) he'll take your engine in part ex or rebuild your unit and courier each way - very competitive prices.
