Default JAWarehouse td05 18g

i bought this turbo a few months back from a fellow sn member (trusted) as a replacement for my build. when i went to look at the turbo everyting was fine, no play, no cracks and so on. i asked what it had been running he said it had come off a newage running 1.5 bar mid 350s

since then i been told it crap and dont use it
so ive done some searching and it seems to be the case but i did find a post saying not all of them are duff and its mainly the 20g that doesnt produce the goods.

so what do i do, do i trust the seller and go for it or do i buy a new one.

is there anybody running a jaw turbo that cuts the mustard

thanks in advance Dave

you have the turbo now so you may as well use it, if the previous owner had no problems i cant see why you would.

nice write up
but.... mine is an 18g, the reviews ive read are mainly about 20g turbo's then the 18g just gets tarnished because of it big brother. im guessing the turbo has done over 2k going by the build up of coke and grime. it is also bone dry front and back and inside the front cover, not a single trace of oil to be seen where it shouldnt.

im probably just talking myself in to thinking its ok but i dont think the seller would lie
