Default oil leak????

hi all changed the sump gasket on my mates 95 wrx as he thought that was what was leaking but after getting into we gatherd this was not the case but done sump anyway as was half way there it looks like its coming from further up behind the cambelt cover any ideas what it could be or is it just a case of stripping it back and looking just wonderd as if was a common fault could order some bits save having to strip it twice any ideas would be great thanks

Crank seal?

Crank seal is common, but could also be a cam seal, belt will need to come off to fix, so aswell changing the cambelt too

is it a big job to do as he gonna do the cambelt anyway? also any specialist tools required for chaning either of the above

Its easy to do,once the cambelt is off get a small self tapper and screw it into the middle of the seal not all the way in tho, then pull with pliers, it comes out quite easily.
