Default how to remove crank pully !!!!!

sinmple as stated ,how you get the crank shaft pulley off an 96 uk2000t

if the engine is still the car, could but it in gear that should hold the crank still. ;-)

Slip a really long pry bar around the wrench's handle, so as to reduce the sheer poundage (human effort) you have to exert on the crank pulley nut... And it will be a lot of lb ft!!!

Big breaker bar, in gear, someone with their foot on the brakes too...


alternatively you can put a bar in there and wedge it against the chassis leg and give a quick flick over on the key.....dont attempt this if your not comfortable with it tho!

The starter motor trick is well known on here.

I personally wouldn't feel comfortable doing it. You can get far more force using a long breaker bar, so wouldn't want to risk the starter breaking...
