Default battery

Hi all
This is my 1st post.
I have a r plate turbo 2000. I want to install an amp, but am worried about disconnecting the battery. When i bought the car 3 weeks ago i was never given the alarm pin code. So if i disconnect battery will it completly imoblizer my car. Dont want to disconnect if wont be able to restart car.

Hello mate..

Should be fine to disconnect the battery. Didnt have the pin for mine when i did it first and all worked fine. I did then get the code from Subaru to be on the safe side!

Cheers will have a go in abit i think. This my dream motor so dont want be left not being able to drive her lol.

You can program your own pin code no probs. Just follow this.

Cheers for that, but my pad only has 1 to 0 on it. Also when bought from dealer the car came with no radio code due to new radio also no pin code. As long as i can disconnect battery today with no problems, i will get pin reset at a dealer in next week or so.
