Default Sticking throttle

Some weeks back I posted about a problem I have with the throttle sticking in the closed position after a couple of days of not being used. It would take a push on the pedal to get it to open but would be ok after that.
After a round trip of 265 miles last weekend I went to use the car today and found the throttle stuck solid! With quite some force I finally got it to free and it was ok after that. The problem is at the throttle body itself. There seems no way to lubricate the spindle. Has anyone else had a similar problem?
At the moment I've wedged the throttle open and will see if it sticks in that position after a day or so.
The only difference is that as I have a catch can system, there is no oil vapour entering the throttle body and acting as a minute amount of lubricant!
Any ideas?

Bit worrying that I'm the only one having experienced this problem?

I'd get the intercooler off and have a look inside to see if it's jamming inside.

Failing that, WD40 on the outside of the throttle body and work it with your hand till it feels fine.
