Default IDLE CONTROL VALVE

Hi there. I have recently bought a 96 wrx sti ra and I am having a few problems. Think the idle control valve is about knackered. Revs go between 1000 to 1500 then settles when engine warms up. Found a few second hand replacements but I cant find a gasket for them any where. Any help much appreciated.
Car also goes into limp mode if I give it the beans for too long. Is this related to my idle control problem?
Thanks for any helpconfused:
