was getting a code 22 K/S , took it off today and this is what i found... blue spade connector fraid wires.. and it was plugged into a small black box bout 3mm by 3mm... any other 1 ive seen is a white block connector going into another white 1... this cant be right is it?, could this be the reason for my code 22?

i'd say judging by the state of it that this is your problem, it needs changing anyway so swap it and see if it cures the fault.

all sorted (i think).. changed it over and took it a little run for 10 mins and light stayed off

it may be worth resetting the ecu now to clear any stored fault codes etc.
