Question

I fitted a SPA dualgauge today !(oiltemp/oilpressure.)

But I have a few questions,...what oilpressure do I have to read when I'm driving on throttle and on Idle ?

And how much is MAX for oiltemp !

I have a MY01 WRX

I dont have an answer to your question, but where did you mount the probes for pressure and temp?

Lightbulb

Dont have a gauge myself but oil temperatures greater than about 110C would indicate its time to slow down. This could vary depening on where the sender is installed, if its in the sump you would probably see lower temperatures.

I have the gauge now for a few days , and the regular temperture with normal roaduse is abouth 85 Celcius,...oilpressure is on idle 2.2 bar and on full throttle about 6.5 bar !!

I fitted bot sensors in a special made adapter which is fitted between oilfilter and engine !

The same adapter as the tri-gauge-pod from STi (same as Defi)is using !
