Rear springs on 98 forester
Hello, I hope that somone can help me, I expect this question has been answered a hundred times before, but I cannot find the answer!
I have just bought a set of springs for my '98 non turbo Forester from Springcoil in Sheffield, 15% stiffer (due to LPG tank) and 25mm taller (due to using the car!). I said non SL but the new rears have one end straight, which fits the spring seats on the struts and one end tapers in making the diameter too small. Have I ordered the wrong springs? Is the best way round this to replace the old (very dubious) struts with new, and if so would that be KYB 334191/2?
Any help would be great.
