I need a new clutch fitted (burnt the last one out at last years sprints) but I need a good compromise clutch, one that will not burn out doing fast starts at sprints but will also not be too heavy for my daily driving which involves lots of commuter traffic jams. I also need a good garage to fit it in the southern half of the UK. I know there are loads of excellent Scooby specialists north of Birmingham (some of which like Scoobyclinic Ive used a lot) but since I live in Cardiff, I just dont have the time at the mo to travel up and back. I have a 53 plate STI and a budget of about a grand to buy and fit a clutch. And I also need to get it fitted in the next week or so as I cannot use the car at the mo in case I damage the new flywheel now that the bite is completely non existent but not slipping. Any recommendations for good clutches or good clutch fitters preferably in the south or south west? Liz

i'd second that,does all my work and im from south wales,im off down there in a couple of weeks for a few more goodies fitted and racerom applied

with regards to the clutch i use the AP racing organic clutch,oem feel and takes a bit of punishing
