hid on classic angel eyes

does anybody know if you can fit hid lights in the angel eye headlights on a classic? these are the lights im asking about

Apparently there is a sticker on them to say you can't, and some people on here have said a HID bulb is too long to fit. But I'm sure someone has.

Bulb is too long and won't fit properly.

Have tried it.
