Default Help on 400bhp build

Iam trying to my version 1 wrx 1993 to make aound 400/400 (there about).
currently 300/290 dynoed

But after some advice as i hear all different ways to go round it.
Before i start all brakes and suspension are taken car off, so now moving onto power, the aim is for nice road car that will do 2-3 track days a year and 1 pod trip a year,
would like to run low 12s.

Parts i already have some fitted some waiting to go on-

2ltr close deck block forged pistons only, new bearings but unknown (Previous owner)
Full clinic 3inch exhaust system with proper bellmouth opening,
harvey ported headers.(stock up pipe)
Uprated clutch.
Fmic.
intercooler spray
Hks air filer and resonator delete
Aeromotive fuel reg
850cc injectors, on order
Ty754 box
Catch Can
a/c removed,
dump valve removed,
range 7 plugs

Now here is were am stuck and looking for the advice,
Do i need to do any porting?
do i need to change my fuel rails?

Ecu- iam looking to go simtek,
Turbo- td05 20g genuine
Boost controller- is the simtek able to control this? using 3bar bar map sensor and my 3port or am i having to look at standalone like an avcr or profic b?

Also what sort of boost would i be needing to run?
i was thinking 1.5/6bar.
thanks for looking
Benji

No need of porting or fuel rails. No need for boost controller as Simtek has good boost control.

Best turbo to make 400 IMO would be the MD321H.

Md321H is a 400ish turbo, 20g may just make 400 & the SC46 is a 450 turbo.

T is a 450ish turbo. 850cc will be more than enough.

For 400BHP you will be safe with 650cc(with FPR you can run 450bhp).
Difference between T and H is just spool and BHP rating,H is good up to 410bhp and T will be good for 450bhp(maybe little more)

T works better on a Newage STI with AVCS heads, your classic may be better off with a custom built 20G or an MD321H.

IMHO

P.S. Stockpile a few gearboxes too !
