change my down pipe with the turbo still on it?? if i undo the 3 nuts/bolts that hold the turbo on?? because 2 of the 5 nut/bolts got rounded

Not sure I follow.

Are you saying the you want to remove the downpipe with the turbo still attached?

I dont see why not. How badly are the bolts rounded? Have you been using a 12 sided socket on them and it has mashed them up a bit. Have you tried a 6 sided socket?


If they are goosed and the only option is to remove the turbo with the downpipe there is a few things that need to be addressed.

Water/oil lines will need to be removed from turbo. (you will loose lots of coolent so its worth draining this first)

inlet pipe and turbo>TMIC pipe.
unbolt uppipe
unbolt turbo to head bracket
unbolt turbo to bell housing bracket.

I think that should do it. Good luck
