Default Exhaust Question

Hi Guy's sorry but got another Newbie question, could anyone advise me on my next step? When I bought my car it sounded like there was a blow from near the turbo, I have been talking to the guys down at Hayward and Scott and they have advised me it is probably the "up" pipe. Could any body provide me with a diagram of the exhaust layout or explain my best option? I was looking to buy an exhaust from Hayward and Scott however the car needing an up pipe puts £250 on the price, I have noticed that most people seem to change this pipe when having an exahust fitted!

Thanks Scott

As I stated I am looking to put a full exhaust on but at the minute I cant afford to have it re-mapped at the same time! Am I best waiting and do it all at the same time or will it cause no problems if I change this and wait until I have the money for the re-map?

Hi there you can have look for used catted up pipe,i think will cost around £45 or just check here for this.Personally i would go for standard catted uppipe and after money allow i would go for remap with decated up pipe and decated exhaust...Until stick with catted items and you will be fine, don't fit anything which can harm/damage your engine.
For remap you can ask here Rich@FB Tuning or Duncan@Race Dynamix,Neil@Slowboy Racing and remap cost around from £300 or you can go EcuTek route which cost from £550 excluding VAT.

You really need to hold off until you can afford to have it mapped properly.

You can chqnge downpipe back and should be okay without remap
