Years ago the big two were Perrin and Hyperflow, both made a decent system and an enormous one to top the range.
They are superbly finished, but the market has moved to the cheap end of the scale now and you can buy a decent one from Harvey for pennies...

P.S. I know of a 650 bhp car using the "big" Perrin, and mine has a Hyperflow "Monster".

We've fitted loads of them, and never regretted buying one.

Well price isnt a worry as I have a trade account set up with them, i just didnt want to buy one for the price they are and then everbody turn round and tell me all the reasons why i wasted my money lol. I dont mind paying the extra for the perrin unit even if cheaper ones match the efficiency as I am totally sold on the quality etc. I just didnt want to spend more money on something that can be easily out performed. Im taking the car off the road and rebuilding a 450bhp motor so I want quality through and through, Im a great believer in you get what you pay for. Cheers for the comments guys you've only confirmed what I thought already

Alan,
Bigarf hasn't hit any walls, but his FMIC was split when you last mapped it... so he had it welded up.
This has resulted in some "boost issues", then he found he'd cracked the other end too !
No LoL.

I bought mine with future upgrades in mind, so over the last few years it's not significant.
The "cheap stuff" is miles better now than just three years ago.
At 450 bhp you barely need to demand a Perrin, BUT it's your decision.
Half out there will nod knowingly, the other half will shake their heads in disbelief...

Ive only heard good things about Harvey FMIC, I wasnt classing yours with the ebay specials i mentioned. With me having an account with Perrin i prefer to also use brands i can supply thats all, i know realistically not many people will go for the expense of perrin but there build quality is 100%. And upto now the only fmic i can get to supply are ones i wouldnt put on a wheelbarrow to be quite frank. Perrin are the only ones i would sell confidently.

I did order the oil catch can from the USA, but I don't think it's suitable for use as a coolant tank, it's too blinking small it will only hold around 500ml of fluid.
So I'm going to use it as a catch can and have been trying to source a 'proper' coolant tank in it's place.
I've just come off the phone to Adam @ Scoobyclinic and they have a Hyperflow coolant tank there and I have ordered it with him, but many thanks Boyd for the contact @ Perrin.

Afternoon Boyd, do you know of anywhere that supplies the Perrin overflow coolant tank - I need one for my APS FMIC as mine did not come with the APS tank, and trying to source one has been a royal pain in the behind.
Or can you send me some pics and dimensions please.
