how much to get a blown ej20 engine
hi how much can i pick up a blown ej20 engine for that has the crank and block fine like a headgasket or piston rings gone. As i want to have a practice engine to play on and hopefully rebuild. Does antone have 1

hi i picked one up off fleabay to strip and rebuild, found one that had headgasket failure and paid 100 pound for it, Ive now stripped it and all looks good bottom end wise so happy days if you get one fom ebay then i would suggest getting a headgasket failure engine rather than bottom end problem less damage

been looking around for the same reason. im looking in the 30 mile radius and they seem to be around 150mark

Might be selling my JDM V7 EJ207 STI block soon as just doing an engine swap. It's a good unit, and had a bottom end rebuild in late 2008. I've just swapped the engine due to an Exhaust Valve problem on Cyl 4. Other than that it is good and showing a good even 125 PSI on the other 3 Cylinders before removal (cold).
In some ways I prob should of gone for a top end rebuild but just could not handle more and more cost so got a 40,000 mile block with a 3 month guarantee to drop in.
Given as it is a relatively straight fix if you have the time and once done it'll be worth £1250+ I would prob sell for around £500-£600 but would need collecting.
