Default cold start

hi,nearly every morning especially when cold,i turn the key to start engine, once engine fires up, the first 3 or 4 seconds of idle seems to stuggle a little, then the revs pick up and all is well.its had recent plugs.car is a v4 1998 sti type r,completely standard with 77k.
i dont think its anything to be too concerned about but my old uk turbo wagon never seemed to do it.
any ideas?

thanks.
