if your facing the engine its on the throttle body on your left a little black box with a plug and its fixed on with 2 screws if you loosen these and then move it around slightly and try and start it its worth a try???? it sorted mine right out have you tried putting your foot down on the clutch while you crank it over??? and try flicking the ignition on about 3 times and then give it a whirl???? let us know how you get on????

Sounds like the immobiliser. There should be a transponder chip in the key, check it's not fallen out.

Or the fuel pump, should buzz and prime the lines when you first turn on the ignition.

Or the cam sensor, top right hand cam as you face the engine.

Unlikely to be the crank sensor as it is only used on start.

sounds like the fuel pump, wiring or fuel pump relay then bud, replaced my pump with a 2nd hand one which failed 2 weeks later ! then fitted with a walbro one as the oe ones are known to fail
.one year on no problems, you need to gain access to the pump to check for 12v feed( when you first switch on the ignition and crank the engine over )
the pump is located behind rhr seat under a panel held on with 4 screws.
if you have wagon you can fold seats to access it or if its saloon seats need removing first i believe.
