Default Ecu fault codes?

My check engine light comes on temporarily then goes off when my car bogs down. Ive just booked it in at car electrics in the midlands but there not sure wether they will get a fault when they plug itup? If the check engine light comes on, does it store on the ecu or not if the light osnt on constantly. Car is a 94 wrx sti ver 1 with standard ecu i think. Cheers peeps

Right just to double check my decoding skills i have read 2 faults on the ecu. The light came on twice for 1.3 secs then 3 rapid flashes which i believe decodes to 23 - maf sensor and another code which flashed for 1.3 secs then one rapid flas which i believe is 11 - crank position sensor... Can anyone confirm these? There was a 1.8 second delay between the codes which i believe is a new code.
