Default Is this exhaust any good?

Hi all,

Im going to take my MY01 UK Bugeye to 270/280bhp, is this exhaust any good?

I appreciate it wont compare to Millteks, Nur specs and the likes but taking into account the cost for the complete system is it worth buying? My mate sent me the link and said he thats what he had on his old car but I'd like your opinions please.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tchlink:top:en

Thanks, yodi

Personally i would do not touch this exhaust, personally i rather pay £100 more for proper one from Cobra
http://www.cobrasport.com/exhaust/Su...I+01-07/31/0/0
or here from Japspeed ....
Beware before eBay exhaust, stay clear i know from own experience....

It looks very similar to the system on my Classic apart from the up-pipe, same resonators in the same places. It sounds ok and looks ok, although the tail pipe is little large for my liking.
I'm just waiting for the flexi bit on the down pipe to give up the ghost so i can warrant a new one. When i replace it, it will be for a 3 inch down pipe to a 2.5 inch system and a OE looking back box/tail pipe.
In answer to your question, i have had the car for just over 3 years and the exhaust has given me no cause for concern.

Thanks guys, I've seen a milltek on eBay from a 2005 model, will it fit my Bugeye?

It's only a cat back though but I can buy the downpipe on it's own.

I'd buy a proper one without the flexi joints. Milltek are great quality and quiet until you give it some beans.
