How to remove intake manifold
Anyone have a how to on a classic version 6, as title says. Done a search and it says there is plenty of how to on intake manifolds but can't find one.

To be brutally honest (and please don't take this the wrong way as I don't mean to offend - just being truthful) if you've got to ask you really shouldn't be doing it on your own - not for the first time anyway. There are lots of 'extras' underneath the manifold which also need disconnecting and carefully removing. I found getting it off is actually the easiest bit, if you're doing it solo it's the refitting which can be a bar steward.

Remove the intercooler, remove all air pipes from the air pox to the turbo and all reather pipes and DV return pipe, remove coolent tank, remove the clip that holds your inlet pipe onto the turbo, all electical plugs that go to your throttle body and earth wires. Remove throttle cable.
Now look at eather side of the inlet where your injectors are and you should see two bolts that hold your fuel pipes onto your injectors, same thing on the other side. you will then have 6 bolts i think on both sides that holds your inlet onto your heads. new remove the rubber fuel lines where they steel ones on the right of the manifold and stick a CLEAN bolt on the end of the rubber ones to stop dirt getting in.
I think thats it.
Just look to see if there is anything else holding it, should be easy to spot.
