Blitz turbo timer, please help.
Well, the harness arrived and I got started. I connected the one blue end to the ignition, likewise the other. Then I was left with a purple wire - connected to the handbrake, a weirdly shaped 3 pin connecter, and a single white wire.
After *******ising the 3 pin connector and wiring it into the control unit itself, and finding the earth etc, success!!! The tt was working when the ignition comes on, and engine running. Great!
However, It doesnt run on when the ignition is switched off. Now Im confused, but there is still a single white wire left untouched. After thinking bout it for hours, I must have to connect it to something, but all the guides and info I have found, are as much use as a chocolate fire guard.
Can someone please help me, so I can get it working properly,
Many thanks

What your missing is the perm live... it runs ok with the ignition on, but turn it off an it has no power for the timer to count down.
The black ( or black an red wire ) has to go to the Handbrake ( its so you can't drive off with the timer active an the ignition turned off ) or so i've been told.
the white wire, well thats not connected on mine either. an mine still works ok.

This is the one I have.
The wires are this:
On the control unit
Red - 12v Bty
Blue - Acc
Green - Ignition
Black - Ground
Purple - Handbrake
On the harness
Blue end and other blue end connected to vehicle original harness
Which leaves the 3 point connector and the white wire. The 3 point connector is connected as per a previous post, which just leaves the white. As was said before, it runs fine with the engine on, but wont count down as when I turn the ket off, the TT cuts off too.

The wires in the white plug are the same as the picture above from SiV6Si, the white runs from/between the other connectors. Its basically the same thickness as the the rest of the harness, with a female bullet connector at the end. Cant get pic yet, but will try and find one on google.

tell ya what, start over connect as follows,
on your ignition barrel there are 4 wires, you need 3 of them,
red to main 12v supply of ignition loom,
green is the ignition input and tt run on connect this to the ignition that is live while crank, should be red/blue.
blue goes to the ignition accy, loses 12 under crank
forget about the white wire
