Question

HI ALl

Got a 94 WRX and have to fit a new radiator ( no not due to stone thro the core, but the plastic near top out pipe cracked !!! )

Anyway took the old one out got a new one ordered ( 94 jap models have legacy rads in by the looks of it) but am a little unsure abuot coolant. Ofcourse I drive the car as I should and am obviously therefore concerned to make sure i put the right amount/stuff in the engine.

So answers if you would please to what i put in and how much of it.

Thanks as always for the huge help you guys out there give..

Jason

I usually refill 50% coolant / water, though 20 or 30% is enough.

Cool

Hearing about a lot of these failing jnow
I musta had a good 1, just sold it (the rad) 2 my m8
Used comma coolant for a few years with the original rad & no probs, using mix r8 of 30%.
Remember when filling to squeeze the bottom pipes to get air outta the system and recheck it the day after n topup as rqd
