Default blobeye engine lite ON

Hi need some HELP driving down motorway noticed my engine light on on my 05 blobeye STI done the normal checks oil water etc all looks ok car sounds and tells fine but light still on any ideas on some checks I could would be very appreciated . My cars first sickness

Were you giving it the beans or at a steady cruise? How high is your oil level?
Get the fault code read.

I see your in heathrow?? i can also popmy obd reader on it if you fancy a trip to watford. its IMPOSSIBLE to diagnose without reading the codes

Mine Came on, was at approx 130mph, flat out. Car has upipe, decat, exhaust, filter remap etc

didn't see the point starting a new thread.

Ok thanks I am working just off j18 m25 at mo right near watford will let you know what time I get finished if not too late thanks for your help.

Sorry standard STI 2005 with ppp only was going about 90 when noticed light on pulled over on hard solder done checks every thing looks and sounds even drives the same. Just have to drive off boost very steady at mo don't want to damage my pride & joy

Hi mate,

Hope Blaster don't mind me answering you.

I popped over and checked the car. Code PO0031 popped up so suggested changing the pre-turbo lambda.

Have you got a full exhaust system on your car. With or without sports cat?

Sometimes on EcuTek you tend to get the PO420 code that throws up and EML.

Hi mate sorry been very busy yes as steve said my code was P0031 H02S Heater Control Circuit Low Bank:1 Sensor:1 ,

and as the very very very helpfull steve said quick search on the net and it came out to be front oxygen sensor (Lambda)

Once again Steve THANK YOU for your help I am in your debt : came well out of his way to help out a fellow scobby owner in need. If I can return the favour please let me know (with in reson keep it clean people).

Usual problem(CEL) on Subaru:Front O2 sensor,just have look on eBay i've brought for £88 front O2 sensor and next delivery as well.

And Steve help me as well few times,great mate.
