No mate as the Z4 is rated at 256 bhp which as standard needs TD05.

do you know if its a big job to change from 04 to 05? would it be worth it to run with z4 ecu? seen tdo5 on ebay recon £235

Thought it was sti's and ra's of that age that had TD05 and wrx/uk model's had 04's.

no wrx defo had tdo5 bud ive got 3 but the early uks had tdo5 too tdo4 was introduced around 96 as a quicker spooling turbo too make the standard uk car feel a little brisker with its low bhp output

best bet is to look on the bottom of the turbo as u look at it from the front its easy to see with a torch buddy

Just done a quick check and your right about wrx having td05 but can't find info for uk model

just to add, the uk cars did come with a td05. but with a 7d ecu
the z4 are not as good as they make out mate, + by fitting to a uk car, you will have a limitor. also, the z4 is only very slightly higher boost. 11.43 to 12.73

and for how much the z4 can sell for, you might be better to chat with jgm or esl mate. to get some proper figures from your motor
