hi there i gotta swap my bottom end due the fact a piston came through it. so it is a wrx 1995 import. i got a sti bottom end for cheap. but it looks smaller will this be a problem. it is from a 1995 aswell, and will my head fit it without any problems. cheers for any replys that i recieve

Did a con rod snap which came through block? The bottom end should be the same size (put a picture up) much easier to help and advise. The heads from wrx will fit on but if can get the sti heads and cams aswell as slightly more modified for that bit more bhp.

 

yeah conrod came through the bottom end. Can't get pics just yet. The sti one does look smaller. Will try get pics tomorrow as car 15 mile and no car to get to it

 

Smaller in which way ????

Need to see a picture, should certainly be the same size if deffinatly is a 2.0 sti engine, and yours was a 2.0 wrx engine.
