Brand new mad fitted,Car Started playing up again today, car revs up to 1500 on tickover, checked diaog plugs and code 23 again (maf) is there any chance the idle control valve can cause the maf fault code to keep showing ?????

 

try cleaning the throttle body and idle valve with carb cleaner and see if that changes anything, it might be worth cheacking for an air leak in and around the intake area too as an air leak here may cause the maf to show the wrong signal.
