Hard to describe easily - But if you look to the front left of the turbo under the manifold there is a brown plug, thats the one.

Its a bit of a pig to change too given its location.

The one under the alternator is the crank sensor the coolant temp sensor is just under the back of the alternator either 2 wire or 3 wire, best taking the alternator off to change as its tricky with it on.

so theres two temp sensors the one under the alternator ? the one for the guage on the dash clocks and the one near the turbo on the block? the one that tells the computer wether the engine is hot or cold. anybody have any diagrams or pictures how to do it?

you want the rear 1 as mentioned earlier, there is a small breather pipe that's in the way when you first look.

the early classic it sits to the rear of the inlet manifold
face lift and after, sits on the front behind the alternator.
