Problem to mount intercooler
well... i have one ej20g engine in my impreza, and i dont can to mount the top engine intercooler because it touch in all sides (body and manifold) and dont let me put it .
The intercooler is for a ej20k, i think.
All top mount intercoolers fit in all ej20 engines ?
Thanks.

hi, i have a version 7 in my wrx it took 5 hours to fit, here is what to do,
1 - grind the dump valve port off have it blanked off and a new 1 fitted else where
2 - grind 6mm of your throttle body
3 - grind 5mm of your tmic so this is done so the tmic will move closer to the throttle body so it will fit,
4 - underneath the tmic there is a tringle piece of metal cut it out and there is a lip that sticks out on the bulk head cut if off also then wil some pushing and squezzing it will fit, then cut the tmic hose in half that connects it to the throttle body, make sure when u grind throttle body u put a rag in it too stop any swarf going into your engine and blowing it up,
there ya go enjoy
