When starting car I'm getting nowhere tries to splutter into life but battery lights on.

New battery and starter so has to be an earth issue?

Anyway battery earth strap goes to by the starter motor. See one off gearbox that goes to body work at back of bay.

Where are the others located? looking for main engine earth.

I presume you're getting fuel and spark?

 

Fuel pump priming but that's a another topic. I just need to find earths to eliminate that from the list

okay well I'll update this in case anyone does a search and needs to know.

I got my car running again after cleaning all the earth points and greasing them. Main one off the negative battery to starter motor it's massive can't miss it. Smaller one comes off neg battery again and should go behind drivers side light on body work. Mine wasnt there mine was under the battery for some reason and had sat in a pool of water. Gear box has one that goes to the back part of the bay on the middle part of chassis. I had one last small earth that was drivers side by the suspension mount.

 

Alternator? when u trun the key( not start) , voltmeter ( if u got one ) should shows 12V.
