Default Advice on removing tints from heated element

As above can anybody offer me any advice on this as I dont want to cause damage. I have booked in with a local window tinting company to have them done but they didnt fill me with confidence with regards to causing damage to the heated element on the boot so I was thinking I might give it a go myself

heat the film with a hair dryer mate as you try and remove it then it should come off alot easier regarding the heating eliment think its just gonna be fingers crossed also if there is traces of glue on the window once removed use a cloth and some zipo lighter fluid should remove the residue easily enough

Glad I didn't read this before I removed the tint off my mrs' wagon rear window! I just pulled it straight off, came off in one, easy as anything and didn't leave a Mark or damage the heater wires.

better to be safe than sorry why risk damging the heating element when it wont cost you a penny to take the time to get the hair dryer and reduce the risk imho
