As per title I found this broken and do I replace it or just leave it how it is? I've blocked the vac pipe that comes off the manifold because it was giving a hissing sound and letting out gases.

I've also noticed that MY98 starts to smoke abit when I warm it up in the garage in the mornings. It tends to be bait of smoke in the garage.

I havnt noticed it effecting the cars running but is this worth replacing or ignoring. Also advantage and disadvantages would be nice guys. Thanks.

Happend to me managed to make a pipe that slid in to broken bit and glued and fitted new vacuum hose, job done. Was still connected a year later when i checked, before i sold the car..
