Hi Plantie,
Could be mistaken but isn't 30k a major service with full lube job so the 37.5k is only the basic oil/filter/screenwashreplacement approx £100ish?
cheers melon

Thats right there is no 36k service. Theres the 24 month service (or 30k miles) which is around 400 quid and also the 30 month service (or 37.5 miles) which is a minor, eg oil change and around 120 quid - ish..... Then onto the 36 month (or 45k) miles which on your MY99 is the cambelt and again 400 quid ish.

I've just had a 90,000 mile service done at Scoobysport...standard fixed price is £690 including VAT. This includes the following if my memory serves me correctly:

diff oil change
gear oil change
engine oil change
oil filter change
fuel filter change
timing belt change
2 aux drive belts replaced (air con and water pump? not sure)
air filter (ITG)
brake fluid
coolant change / check
+ checking stuff like brakes, bushes etc.

all oils were quality silkolene lubricants as well.

I omitted engine oil, oil filter, air filter, and brake fluid cos I changed them all recently and price dropped to £524.

Definately expensive is the bottom line compared to Subaru and others, but end result was good, car felt much better and quieter, and pulled better from low rpm. Something to do with tensioners on teh timing belt I think.

Anyway, cheers
Alex
