Default 95 wrx STI crank shaft sensor???

Hi guys I changed my oil a few weeks ago but have just read on here that you are ment to disconnect the crank sensor and turn the car over a few time to increase the oil pressure?? i didnt do this... however i did fill the new oil filter up with oil... are there any knock on effects from what i have done?? also any ideas where the crank sensor is located on my car so that next time i can do it the correct way.

thanks guys!!

i think it would have knocked by now if it was going to.

crank sensor is in the middle at the front above the main pulley, its under the alternator a bit ,you can see it, the plastic connector is brown i think
