Sigma Alarm Woes
My alarm likes to go off randomly every once in a while, waking up me and my neighbours. I have an MY99 and I have tried following the codes in the http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/uploads..._m30_codes.pdf in order to find out which sensor triggered the alarm, but I fail to get any dashboard lights, although the alarm beeps to acknowledge parts of the code as they are entered.
More specifically on entering * 17856 * 38 # in order to find the number of the sensor that triggered the alarm, the keypad light does not flash anything extra to the last key press acknowledgement, and the dash LED does not do anything except after a certain amount of time slowly flash to let you know the immobiliser has re-armed.
In short, acknowledges code being entered, but no response. I have also tried other codes to get the number of ultrasonics triggers for example, but nothing. Anyone know what is going on?.

Cheers, in the end I realised I was looking at the wrong LED :S It's not the key symbol on the dash, but the one by the ignition key. I was originally sat in the passenger seat to make typing codes easier but couldn't see the other LED!
Anyway now I have 100 (or thereabouts) triggers of Ultrasonics logged (oops). However the threshold for ultrasonics is 90 something - this seems high compared to other peoples advice. Surely it should be impossible for it to go off? Does it need to be set higher still?
