Default help, air bag related

hi am after abit help, i have a hawkeye 07 plate, i have removed the front seat for some aftermarket ones, the airbag light is now on, just wondering if the airbags will still work and how i can get rid of the light cheers

Hi
You will need to fit a resistor on the air bag connector Subaru part no 98299PA040/resistor-STRG"3R"

ok cheers will i need to do it with both seats and as it is will the airbags work cheers

Yes both seats,not sure if they will work with the airbag light on.

Yes ,I had to cut the original connecters of and wire the resisters on with crimp on connecters.

Any 2 ohm resistor ( available from maplin or similar outlet) should put the light out and complete the circuit.

All other airbags will still function fine.

Some people just remove the bulb but by doing this you dont know when you have a fault in the system..
