Would a split boost or vacum pipe cause boost cut and a code 45?
I assume it would also cause rich running and an eratic idle?

code 45 is a MAP sensor witch is vacum operated so yes id say so, repair the pipe and see if the code comes back

issume you know where the leak is

 

A leak in the boost control vac hoses would cause over boost and fuel cut, unlilely to notice anything else.
