other than a small improvement in sound by just replacing the stock exhaust rear section with a prodrive rear section on a 2002 wrx?

Hi matey in sound difference will be(i'm not sure but if you have now fitted std centre pipe which is with resonator)..
Look here for For sale section or Group bay where is great sort of exhaust(catback or fully decated exhaust with downpipe etc.)

 

The prodrive backbox is slightly more free flowing than the o/e backbox and is made from stainless steel , so more hard wearing and a improvement. In the noise department, but not overly loud .
