Default Will 245/18s fit on to a Hawkeye

I am looking at buying a set of wheels and hope to fit 245/40/18s on to the wheels. Will these tyres fit inside the Hawkeye arches or will they rub?

I am looking at getting Advan RG11 18x18.5 31mm offset or the Advan RS 18x8 45mm offset

Lee.

the ET31 rims will most likely rub.

A friend of mine ran 245/40/R18s on et 45 rims with no rubbing on standard suspension, camber bolts front and rear for clearance.

personally I would run 245/35/R18s

Yeh the arches have been rolled, its a Spec C so the inner arches are pretty bare anyway and I am putting on a set of Buddy Club Racing Spec Dampers within the next two weeks with top mounts so Camber can be adjusted.

However I only want to run the "correct" camber which is best for the car on the road or at a trackday, I dont want to be running extra camber just to fit the tyres on

for setting up the car that runs well.

I'm very certain 8.5" wheels fit, the RA-R and S204 comes with 8.5" wheels as standard, so my bet is 245s will fit, but only with "correct" offset wheels.

8.5s fit fine, i run 18x8.5 Rota SVN's with ET48, but on 235/40/R18 tires without rolled arches.

245s may be a stretch on a 40 profile.

^^^^^^ I am going to try the 8.5J with a 50 offset to see if the 245/40/18s will fit? if not I will put on the 235s. Dont fancy running the 35 profile tyres

thanks for your thoughts

wow thats wide have you had your arches pulled or maybe just rolled? using an offset calculator your running 12mm wider inside to the arch and 38mm wider on the outside is that right
