55 WRX rad leak - advice needed

55 WRX rad leak - advice needed
The rad on my 2005 WRX looks like it has a leak. On the top surface I can see traces of coolant (on the plastic top).
I'm not sure if it's coming from the rad or the hose as I can't see any signs of the leak - is this a common prob or just a case of tracing down where it's coming from.
It is only loosing a very small amount of water but I want to sort it before it gets worse.
If it is the rad is that an easy job?
Any advice and places to buy from would be welcome.
