yes a standard uk wrx sti rod early i believe due to the nut fastener instead of the bolt type

yeah think its only the v1/2 imprezas but hold me to it maybe they changed when they went to phase to 2 engine again i don't know for sure, what pistons are they?

That's a standard rod, as fitted to all Classics.

did they not change from a nut to a bolt fastener on the later classics? or was it only on the new age's?
