I checked my oil a couple of weeks ago and obviously the car wasn't level as I checked this morning and I'm over the F level.

97 UK turbo.

How much is too much? I hope that there's a bit of tolerance before it gets dangerous for the engine. I guess I now have nearly a full 5 litres rather than 4.5.

Do I have to get some out of there?

Yes, get some dropped out.

You will see some marks on the dip stick, a '>' cut into the edge and a 'o' on the flat. The 'o' is your full level.

The exess oil is blown about via the breather system and may cause you running issues.
