What's the highest Bhp/torque you guys have got out of the early forged close deck blocks?
And what boost was you runing?

Well as most now have holes in them it means that the internals were not up to much, so people have about the same sort of power out of these blocks as they do the open deck ones with the subaru internals.

ok, i thought just as they had forged pistons in the early 93 ones they may have been bit stronger say to 98 turbo 2000?

Weaker if anything, only the original STI had forged pistons in it on a cdb and those were not as good as the later cars.
Dont worry about the block, its the internals you have to think about, the standard odb is good for 500bhp, really you dont need more than that on a road car.

+1 Tony i really don't know why people want cbd's when obd's will the do the job just fine and are alot less money.

as above, there are a few 450+ bhp odb around on scoobynet now
