ACL "Race Series" mains and bigs. Most independent specialists who advertise/post on here stock them...

Also, now's the time to seize the opp. to fit the much stronger STi v.1-4 multi layer steel HGs (1.6mm) - that's assuming you do have a MY93, as your username suggests? Once again, available from most specialists - RCM and API to name but two.

Completely and properly forge the mother f***er! Do it - you know it makes sense.

Seriously, if on a bit of a budget, you could fit, perhaps, a decent set of used STi 3/4 pistons and a STi Hawkeye rods. When I had my old WRX motor rebuilt by Zen, they had these same items lying around - the extra these cost was only about £170 odd.

Prob be able to remap to 380bhp (+ supp mods) quite safely (but the g/box then becomes a worry).

Your best course of action at this point, is to discuss your situation and intended budget with Dave at API (unconditional advice given!). He will offer the best/most cost effective route to take, within any starting budget.

If it's just the bearings (and/or crank), then he can do a relatively low-cost "economy" repair, with just the offending items replaced.

You have lots of options at this point - go in with your eyes open...

550s should be good for c.390 (might make more though).

Turbo choices would be:-

SC40 XT-R billet
MD321H
RCM400, etc.

You may not make quite 400, but not worth sacrificing low spool, i.e. everday flexibility, for just 20-odd extra "top-end" bhp. Anyway, your WRX heads limit to 380-400 area anyway.

You'd need a decent FMIC e.g. Hybrid GT2 (or a New Age STi TMIC).

Walbro 255 good enough for <450, I think.
