I've got almost the same car, bue without the PPP. Mine came with a decat 3' straight, wallbro pump and ecu tek. I've donr bits here and there, and now its running 357bhp.
The first thing to go though was the clutch, it's expensive to replace mainly due to labour, deff. worth an upgrade.
Also, when it's servieced, and a cam belt is due, replace that aswell as your plugs. Worth doing it once and then not again..lol

You will need to show no mechanical sympathy to your car to get it down to 4.2. If i was you id start losing some weight of the lardy newage.

You say 0-60 in 4.6 Have you actually achieved that or are you quoting the Prodrive blurb? To lose 0.4 sec you will probably need an extra 80bhp or more! It's the law of diminishing returns, I'm afraid.

I guess it's a benchmark figure that everyone recognises?

True. Still sounds the same as the usual pub talk....."mine's got 500Bhp on a TD04 @ does 0-60 in 2.3 seconds & a standing quarter in 8 seconds"!!

0-60 is only good for the drag strip, and then even there you spin too much

The biggest one to get down is the 60-100mph time - the difference between 0-60 of 4.6 and 4.2 is hard to even catch. But once going the extra power pulls the car lengths.
