Default Will my 06 STI need a Remap?

At the moment my car is in dock, having marhle forged pistons fitted whilst the head gaskets are being replaced and the valve stem oils seals done etc....

The question is- Will my car need a remap once its all up and running again with the new pistons??

Its a 2006 Sti Spec d with a PPP

Ta Warren

if the compression is the same, I can't see why it would need a remap, but probably worth having it checked over for peace of mind

personaly i would never have an engine change that major that without having it mapped. is it worth the risk of not doing it?

All sorted getting it mapped next Friday, It will also have one of these fitted http://www.tracktive.co.uk/product.php?id=100091 with a 3 port solenoid and a Cosworth panel filter!

Any idea of what BHP to expect?
It was 329.5 on scoobyclinics rollers the other week and that was before all the extra bits were fitted!
