hi ive just put a pipercross air filter on my scooby classic changed from airbox to a cone an my engine light comes on at 30 to 40mph but when put me foot down it goes of is this the maf sensor or is it draging warm air from engine at low speeds?

thinking of swaping it back to box an getting green panel filter

Do a fault code check and see what it tells you.

Far far far better idea to bin the IK and refit the OE box with a KnN or Green panel filter.

As per him, if you'd run this idea past us prior to buying the induction kit, you'd have been strongly advised to save your money. It won't be doing your car any favours at all. In some ways it's just as well the Check Engine light has come on sooner rather than later (or not at all).

Remaining advice is as per above.

Sell the induction kit as above guys recommend/or get car mapped for induction kit and fit again OEM airbox with Green filter/K&N(OEM airbox is good up to 400BHP)
