Default twin scrool set up ?

ive got a 2.2 fully forged wr1 box fmic 700cc injectors 3" full systam and other bits i woz going to put a td05 20g put on it ive been told that the imprts version 7-8 have a different turbo set up twin scroll set up ive been told if i put this set up on my engine it will make hell of alot of difference is that correct i can get the turdo down pipe and headers £700

won't make as much power as a 20g though, response on twinscroll is good but to get the most from your engine might want to look at a hybrid twinscroll turbo, but gonna cost a lot more than a 20g, depends what you want really

ok pal the guy who is going the engine just said i would put a twin scroll on it and ill get more power ang torque out off

the vf37 off jdm will top out about 350-360bhp but spools very fast and is a superb daily driver due to this, I love mine, but I believe the 20g will get at least 20bhp more than this but will not spool as quick.

Stef,

I`d enquire about the headers and up-pipe as you might need to change the sump aswell depending on the fitment if you go down the twin scroll route, worth asking before you shell out any ££.

If they are using one of the LM turbo's then it will make more power, a standard vf36/37 will top out about 360-370bhp but produce 380-400lbs of torque, and the pick up will be better, especially in gear

Sump, manifold, dipstick and pipe, downpipe and exhaust parts probably.

+ Windage tray (unless your running a Cosworth baffle plate) and oil pick up pipe.

ive got the sump i spk to andy carr and my mate had one on his cossi they said its a vf 37 ill get more torque and with the td05 ill get more power they said go for it for everything will cost me 700 fitted im not botherd about power its torque i want lol at mo my car woz max power 363.5 and 331 torque with a vf34 and the type ra box andy said ill get abit more power but about 400 torque witch i think its alot and will through you back into your seat
