hi all
I am in desperate need of help when driving my car today the engine light has come on in dashboard,i was not flogging car i was driving sensible at below 4000rpm,the car did not seem to have any problems in any gear and i managed to get it home only another 6 miles i have since parked it up but once i start it up light is still on i am due to get it serviced but will it be ok to drive it their to be looked at thanks

 

You're going to have to do better than that if you want any help. Read the very first thread in Gen Tech and try again.

 

Hi sorry just panicked lol I have a Subaru wrx 02 reg had engine rebuild only 10000 miles ago has 103000 on clock I dint no what mods had done as just bought it has ppp and full decat but I have just put a muffler on few days ago the car sounds fine and I still run if about 6 miles before parked up checked oil and that seems fine but this is my first Scooby and I am no mechanic lol

sorry mate bit far from me,, cost more in fuel to get here than it would to pay to get it plugged in some where up your end...

 

same here mate have you done out to stop the cel coming on with the decat fitted could be that mate best thing to do is get the code read at the service
